These books cover a wide range of technical subjects, like steam engineering and machine shop practices. There are also books on do it yourself technical projects like; home made vacuum tubes and amplifiers, tesla coils and devices, and other very cool gadgets.

I have ordered a catalog and a copy of the book on making vacuum tubes and amplifiers called Instruments of Amplification by Pete Friedrichs.
